A step-by-step journey through the interview
I would like to share my interview experience with the Softchief community. I recently got selected for a Dynamics 365 CRM Developer role after attending multiple interviews. The interview process consisted of 6 rounds, including an AI-based screening,
- L1 and L2 technical rounds,
- a client interview
- HR discussion.

Most of the technical discussions focused on:
- Dynamics 365 CRM customization and configuration
- Plugin development and registration
- Workflow implementation
- JavaScript in Dynamics 365 CRM
- Power Automate and Dataverse concepts
- Integration scenarios
- Real-time project-based and problem-solving questions The integration concepts and practical implementation knowledge covered during the training helped me answer several scenario-based questions confidently.
- In addition, the interview also included discussions on Copilot features in Dynamics 365, and having exposure to those concepts was an added advantage.
Tips & Advice
Helpful insights for future candidates
What helped me the most was the practical and hands-on approach of the softchief training. The real-time examples, interview-oriented discussions, assignments, and doubt-clearing sessions significantly improved both my technical understanding and confidence. My suggestion to other learners is to focus on practical implementation, regularly revise plugin and Power Platform concepts, and practice real-time scenarios before attending interviews.
